IBA, a not-for-profit, international organization, is supporting and facilitating the co-operations between academy and industry sectors in all fields of today´s knowledge-based societies. Being the framework and the �scene� where sectors meet, IBA´s community realizes its activities in the widest range scale and shares information, events, journals, publications in various channels and ways.

By establishing and maintaining several active workgroups and providing a unique community platform: Coffee Break, our society is definitely a significant part of the �evolution� which develops various solutions and creates more effective environments for academy/industry symbioses.

Our mission is clear: to support all R&D organizations in finding their ways into the business world. For this reason high level professionals, policy makers, business leaders and governmental representatives have joined our community building an extensive network and sharing experiences worldwide.
