An IBOA Admissions officer will work with your family to learn about your child’s unique needs, interests, educational goals and learning style and answer any questions you may have.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, year-round.
HOW TO APPLY
Admission form: Complete the Application form in full and pay the $100 non-refundable Application fee.
Documentation Review: Provide report cards/and school records for the last two academic years. All documents must be received prior to the student's testing for admission.
Assessment Test: Applicant students will take a Placement exam which covers Math and Language Arts for the desired grade. Student's with poor test scores must follow remedial courses set forth in an IEP. Admission test level is determined by previous school records, grade level and/or date of birth.
Student Interview: Student's seeking admission into Grades 4-12 must have an entrance screening interview with either a member of the Admissions Team. At least one parent must be present at the time of the interview.
Admissions Offer: Our Admissions Team identifies courses and/or grade-level programs that would potentially meet the student’s needs.
Registration: Upon acceptance of grade level recommendations and the course plan, families are invited to pay the registration fee.
Acceptance Email: Upon acceptance, an official admissions email will be sent to the parents.
Enrollment: Once tuition payment and signed Enrollment Agreement form have been received, a welcome letter is sent to the family, teachers are assigned to the student and the student is granted access to our course management system (CMS).
